Slim Hawkins and Cobalt Williams swagger into trouble the moment they spot gigantic tracks on the road to Yellow Horse. What they find instead is Frederick the First, a small circus elephant with a talent for wrecking everything in sight and a habit of turning frontier common sense into comic disaster. After bargaining him down from a desperate circus man, the two decide the beast will make the perfect grand entrance into town—and their joke immediately detonates into chaos.
