A Gift from God

A Gift from God is set in Charlotte, NC, circa 2004. Adam Clayton Dildy, III is a young and successful African-American businessman who, together with his uncles, runs the family construction business started by his grandfather. The Dildy men are known throughout the South as hard-workers. Life is going very well for Adam. He seems to have the world in the palm of his hands. He is quite popular with the ladies, but has not found the one who challenges him - yet! However, that soon changes! He is interested in a beautiful young woman he has recently met, who seems to be giving him the cold shoulder! Her indifference to him is something that he has never experienced! Adam finds himself in a totally new situation that drives him to do the UNTHINKABLE!
