A Promise From Johni

This book is about three generations of related kinfolk from Paintsville, KY and how they lived their lives. All three were very patriotic and loved their country. After WWII, to find better jobs and way of life, they all moved to the Dayton, OH area.

Johni was the youngest of the third generation. His family moved to a small farm in Jefferson Township. They live very close to Drexel, a very mean area, just west of the Dayton City limits. All of the people for the most part, were from either Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia. This is a story of "Johni Boy" Compton's life.
