Awash in the Sacred

Awash in the Sacred is a wake-up call for those afflicted with spiritual amnesia, a not-uncommon condition that causes one to sleepwalk through the day--out of touch with the deepest dimension of oneself and unaware of the richness of daily life. If left unchecked, spiritual amnesia can drain one of joie de vivre, the capacity to experience joy and to find meaning in life. Awash in the Sacred is a reminder that, despite faults and failings, there is a divine dimension to humanity and that, the impermanent and often uneventful nature of life notwithstanding, it is in life's ordinariness that the distinction between secular and sacred, time and eternity, and humanity and divinity is discovered to be a blessed blur.
