Behind the Ropes

What is it like to be on the inside working at a large concert or sporting event? The energy, excitement, and environment that create memories do not happen by accident. I have been teaching, coaching, and instructing for forty years in collegiate athletics, law enforcement, and private security.

Let me take you "behind the ropes" as a VIP to see how events are planned and assets are protected. Along the way, we will meet and learn from some amazing people.

Several contributors will share stories about leadership, opportunity, and making memories as well as how they have dedicated their lives to protecting their community and country. Now those life lessons are used to keep events safe and teach those that desire to be in the profession.

This journey will inform and entertain. In the end, hopefully you will enjoy the ride and have a better understanding of how the security industry works for everyone.
