Rachel's marriage had ended in bitterness and tears. Ben had been unfaithful to her, she was sure, though, of course, he had denied it. Now their only point of contact was their small daughter, Daisy, and that suited Rachel. But when she announced, "Ben, I want a divorce. I've met someone else and we want to get married," her ex-husband's reaction was very surprising! Ben seemed reluctant to accept that their relationship was finally over and apparently had very definite ideas about where Rachel's future happiness lay.
