Dalia Azim wrote Country of Origin in the pursuit of exploring Egypt creatively, mining her own experiences and relatives' stories for a better understanding of her own heritage. This will appeal to children of worldwide diasporas, and falls into an incredible line of multi-generational sagas bridging the narratives between immigrants in the US and their homelands.
