Diary of a Weary Widow

After twenty-five years of marriage, the Lord called Rick home to Himself after he had suffered through two years of cancer, along with the many ups and downs during our years together. The book reflects on things that I've observed and encountered on my journey that I believe will resonate with other widows as well as anyone who has suffered through loss and is doing their best to get through each day. It includes things that hurt me or made me mad, observations that took on a different meaning, or things that brought some joy as I walk this path alone. The mainstay through it all is and has been my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He promises in His Word in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." And I've felt it.
