We were the classic cliché: Small town high school couple where brainy girl tutors hot, swoony quarterback and they fall in love. Then they live happily ever after…

But that only happens in fairytales, because our marriage is in trouble. Big trouble.

Standing before a judge—who delays our divorce, by the way—doesn’t quite align with the dreams we once had. It’s more like a nightmare than a fairytale. Troy gets to keep the job he loves as a firefighter, his annoyingly good looks, lean muscular build, and his wicked skills in the bedroom.
