Flight of the Hummingbird

Christina likes to keep her distance from others. Life has other plans. Events from Christina’s childhood make her fearfully reluctant to get too close to others—even her family. Except, that is, for the one person who has admired her entire life: her adoring father. After her father’s death, the estrangement from her remaining family burns within her tattered heart. When called upon to care for her ailing mother, memories resurface fueling her anger and resentment, choking out any hope of reconciliation. Until she uncovers her mother’s long buried secret that forever changes her and how she lives.
