A brilliant Australian goldfields tale set on the Turon near Sofala, in which a murder mystery, bushranging chased by black-trackers and a strange love story combine. Written by journalist John Sandes in 1915, this is one of six historical fictions penned by 'Don Delaney', who had actually lived on the Turon goldfields.
