Vanessa Cardoso Whelan- Vanessa has performed on stage and in street productions as an actress, clown, Flamenco dancer, puppeteer, and fire-flow dancer.
- Vanessa grew up witnessing gender-based violence and wanted to write a play that could bring awareness to the issue. The idea was for survivors to be heard and supported to be able to ask for help.
- Vanessa heard from more than twenty women survivors who trusted her with their experiences.
- In the last scene, there are real testimonials from survivors of gender-based violence.
