Happy Jack

Happy Jack Squirrel's life in the Green Forest is ruled by appetite, pride, and bad judgment. When he discovers a hickory tree heavy with ripe nuts, he tries to claim it for himself, only to spark a furious quarrel with his scolding cousin Chatterer the Red Squirrel. Their noisy chase shakes the tree so hard that Striped Chipmunk quietly gathers the falling nuts for his winter storehouse, leaving the two rivals to learn too late that greed has cost them everything. Humiliated, Happy Jack spies on Chipmunk and is tricked into believing he has found the hidden cache.
