Michael Calder and his brother, Jeremiah, while on an outdoor adventure, witness a body dump by a serial killer known as the "Eden County Slayer." They decide to secretly tail him back to his home to discover his true identity, while at the same time, two detectives assigned to the case begin to close in. Complications arise, the truth becomes muddled, and in the end, not everything may be what it seems.
