I Just Said My Prayers and Showed Up

"I Just Said My Prayers And Showed Up" describes how I ended up as an Addictions Counselor. I had opened my eyes, with the help of others and God, and God opened doors for me. What I share in this book may benefit family members of those caught up in addictions or concerned others, and of course, those caught up in addictions as well. This is just some of my story as well as some of my experiences, observations, conclusions, and opinions.

Out of consideration and respect for the circumstances and lives of those I have encountered in my life and throughout my addictions and recovery and professional life, concerning this book, I choose to remain somewhat anonymous, as is often the case with people in recovery. I hope you can respect and understand that. And I trust and hope this fact will not detract from the message that I attempt to communicate here.
