A diverse band faces a dark destiny in a world reshaped by myth and magic.

From every direction, nine individuals are drawn to the village of Evilhalt on Lake Erave: a foundling, a princess, a huntress, a secret policeman, a shepherd, a monk, a tribesman, and a battle mage. Each faces trials beyond those of normal travelers. On arrival, they meet Stefan, a local leatherworker seeking more from life.

Together, this unlikely fellowship uncovers deep, dark mysteries hinting at a greater evil. Driven by destiny and a mix of personal reasons, they set off to face their fate in a far-flung fantasy adventure. Will they survive the intimations of evil that await?
