Lord of Samarcand

Set in the blood-soaked chaos of 14th-century Central Asia, the story follows Donald MacDeesa, a fierce Scottish mercenary seeking revenge against his enemies. He joins forces with the brutal conqueror Timur (Tamerlane) and rides to Samarcand, consumed by hatred and vengeance. But amid the clash of empires and Timur's ruthless ambition, MacDeesa learns that the price of revenge may be his own destruction.
