Mental Health Ministry for Churches

Mental Health Initiatives (MHI), promotes the dignity, value, and inherent worth of people who live with mental illness. To advocate through educational means, as well as provide practical, psychological, and social support for the mentally ill, the most neglected and marginalized members of society. This handbook describes how to start church ministry in service of those who suffer with mental afflictions and their families. Another branch of ministry described within is Minds Matter, which puts on events to spread awareness of helpful resources in the surrounding area.
