Arlo Kennedy is a journalist who went off to London to prove herself. Only a few months into her three-year excursion, she gets fired. With not much other choice, Arlo returns home with her tail between her legs, begging her job back at the town’s small newspaper. Jack Murray is on thin ice. The journalist has a tendency to step on people’s toes, and he desperately needs to get back in his boss’ good graces. Struck by a genius idea, Jack decides that mentoring Arlo would be the perfect way to get out of the dog box. Although they don’t always see eye-to-eye, the two investigative journalists soon uncover an intriguing story about a homeless girl. However, there’s more to the story than meets the eye, and before they can stop it, the two journalists are down the rabbit hole with no way out.
