Nina's Peril

Nina's Peril opens in a haze of gothic desperation, as a beautiful young woman enters a late-night drug store and begs for laudanum, her anguish so raw that it hints at a life already ruined by secrecy and sorrow. That woman is Nina Strangemore, once a sheltered heiress at Selwyn Heights, now trapped in a web of longing, abandonment, and suspicion that began with a marriage arranged before she was old enough to understand its cost.
