The necessity of feeding humankind, to save the planet, and the promotion of welfare for people living on agriculture are three main reasons for peasant agriculture. This raises the question of the conditions necessary for an efficient peasant agriculture and that of the necessity of searching for real alternatives and not only an accommodation of the capitalist system.
