September Strike

John Cain has stared at clergy burnout for months and a marriage at the breaking point. His wife, Esther, is full of guilt over the accidental death of their youngest child. Suddenly, a tranquil weekend in September erupts to the pulse of gunshots at a California church with worshippers held hostage; in Boston, the city faces the madness of a biological holocaust; and in Israel, a busload of Christian pilgrims is hijacked.
