STEPS (Stepped Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education Success) is an evidence-based program designed to help autistic young people feel better prepared for independent adulthood. The curriculum has evolved through several clinical trials, as well as input from community-based stakeholders. STEPS focuses on building up self-determination, self-regulation, and self-knowledge to help people develop the skills needed to reach their goals in education and employment. This workbook provides a step-by-step guide to carry out the program and is designed to to work alongside the corresponding provider manual.
