Originally published in 1931, this third volume in a series of three portrays the history of 1924 to 1926. In this final volume, 1st Viscount D'Abernon examines three major events: the Dawes settlement in 1924, the Locarno Agreement in 1925, and the entry of Germany into the League of Nations in 1926. Of these three events, D'Abernon holds that the greatest was Locarno.
