The Dragoneer

Trysten's first fighting season as Dragoneer of the Aerona weyr proves to be dangerous and filled with threats from all sides. While preparing for more attacks from the Western kingdom, Trysten must deal with a prince who arrives to enforce the King's rules and take her title.

As he looks into the mystery of the Second Horde, the Prince discovers the secret of Trysten's heritage. When it seems that Trysten is about to be sent away, Trysten and the Prince encounter a new danger in The Wilds, one that threatens Aerona and the entire kingdom. Despite the rules of the King and the might of the Prince, Trysten must be the Dragoneer she was born to be and prove that she is the rightful heir to the title once held by her father.
