The first volume of The Expanding Continuum of Gender-Based Violence: Trauma-Informed Care is a thorough examination of current knowledge on the way gender impacts both group and individual risk of violence. In this volume, interdisciplinary pro­fessionals focus on the presentation and assessment of trauma with a special focus on trauma-informed approaches. Special emphasis is placed on inclusive language recommendations in order to guide clini­cians and care providers in current best practices.
