The Gospel of Mark

Few works have gazed on the Marcan topic with as much a detail as this one. The tradition on the origin and authorship of the second Gospel looms up from the shadows in southern central Anatolia, closing the first third of the first century AD, pointing out the relation of Mark, one of the most consistent secondary figures of the New Testament, and Peter the apostle.
