The Journey that Lies Within

“Love thy neighbor as thyself” comes easy to Kate Valentine and Samuel Evans. Having grown up in church, they know they are to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. When they are faced with a spiritual dilemma, the two friends set out to find a new life, convinced it is God’s will for their lives. Accompanied by their friend Margaret and the McClenan Gang, they set off on a journey to the West across untamed American soil. But danger arises not only from the physical challenges of the journey itself, but also the people they meet along the way. Their trek to find a new place to call home becomes a journey of self-discovery and love, all while facing deadly circumstances.
