Kadin Draven is a young teen boy whose family is shrouded in mystery. He receives a supernatural gift of the Lycanthrope bloodline and is set to rule. He is haunted by and blames himself for the loss of his mother at age twelve. His elder brother, Jace, reminds him that her death isn't his fault. Kadin is constantly looking in the mirror, seeing himself as the spitting image of her.
