The Wind Rose

A new client and a new commission seem harmless and routine—exactly what Alexander needs. The artifact turns out to be a demanding piece of work, but at least the Earth and Air aspects of magic are simple enough. Still, the object of the client's concern is mysterious and unusual—a strange plant brought from distant lands.

Once he gets into the thick of things, Alexander encounters a dark mage—and soon learns there is more than one.
