Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual is A. E. Waite's 1896 translation of Éliphas Lévi's Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie, first published in two volumes in 1854 (Dogme) and 1856 (Rituel). In these companion volumes Lévi assembles a systematic treatise on ritual and ceremonial magic, setting out a Hermetic, symbolic framework that links alchemy, Kabbalah, and the tarot.
