Transition and Transformation in Hungary

Moving from communist regimes to democratically elected governments in 1990 initiated radical political, economic, and cultural transition in Central and Eastern Europe. Emerging from the shadows of communist rule in Hungary – visible in the widespread presence of corruption, autocratic leadership, and counter-economy – how can personal Christian values bring lasting change to the work, leadership, and business activities of individuals and their organizations? Bridging the gap between secular and sacred in philosophy, theology, and business studies, Krisztina Oláh seeks to define how the integrated life of those Christians in business can be the solution to widespread corruption.
