Tristan the Abandoned

A thousand questions and more flooded Tristan's mind when he found the letter from his parents the day after his sixteenth birthday, but their note answered none. Instead, it told him how to survive on his own and that they had to flee from a past that caught up to them.

Tristan battles insomnia that prompts him to wander the streets at night to avoid his empty house and brave the hazards around him. He must also decide if asking out his longtime friend, Addie, would strengthen their relationship or risk tearing them apart when they both need each other more than ever. A letter finally provides a clue to why his parents may have left, and if true, it would mean more dangers surround him than he ever expected. Tristan must decide if trying to get his parents back is worth losing the little he has left.
