You know that sound.A drip of water,Hitting the ground.Slowly and constantly.You can hear it loud and clear.Yet its soft presence deceives you.You'd try to avoid it at all costs.Carry on with what you set yourself to.Look on opposite sides.Deny its existence long enough,Till it strikes strongerAnd that little pond,You once thought it didn't matter.Is now a sea you are drowning in!You are trying to save yourself out,But you never paused when it called after you.I wake up suddenly worrying about sinking in.Too deep while not knowing how to swim!
