June and her son, David, live a quiet life in a mountaintop village overlooking Florence, Italy. Ever since David's father died, their low-profile lifestyle has been filled with love, learning, and hikes to Florence for groceries and the opera. This suited June perfectly, but not for David, who recently turned eighteen. Using technology enabled him to reach the larger world, leaving him wanting more. He wants to experience all of life!
