Coastal fish of the Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands are a Paradise for Mediterranean marine life. In this guide you will find accurately illustrated many of the coastal species that live between the wave-break zone and a depth of a few metres. These are fish you will see if you go snorkelling or scuba diving around the shores of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. To help you identify and compare species, the images on each page are approximately to scale. Each illustration is accompanied by a short, descriptive text. At the front of the guide is a key to symbols that summarise information about the abundance, water depth and habitat of each species.
