Lignina is free. It will stay that way.
Nothing it does is behind a paywall, and I don't want that to be how this is sustained.
There are many platforms to keep track of what you read. But they all prioritize one language over the others. Or they don't take care of bibliographic information.
What is done differently here is the slow work: separating the work from its editions and formats, so that a novel isn't a jumbled record but the work itself, with each edition and its imprint, its translator, its ISBN, and the cover you hold in your hand. Standardizing names, imprints, and collections when the data is messy, which is almost always. And maintaining it across nine languages, with Catalan, Basque, and Galician treated as what they are.
That's not just done by an algorithm: someone does it by looking at records one by one. The money pays for the infrastructure and those hours.

It's 5 euros a month, or 50 euros a year. And you'll get a small badge on your profile as well as early access to the API. Recurring support renews automatically and can be canceled whenever you want, no questions asked.
If you want to support Lignina, write to hola@lignina.com.
Nothing is behind a paywall
Everything Lignina does can be done without paying: the entire library, reviews, lists, importing, all nine languages. There is no stripped-down version for those who don't pay.
What recurring support provides is not an exclusive feature, it's another door to the same thing. Better access to what already exists, not access to something others are denied.
Just in case you change your mind
You can request a refund within fourteen days of payment, without giving any reason. Full terms are in the refund policy.
